Double Your Energy While Working From Home

Do you want to increase your energy so you can feel MORE productive at your work?

In this post, I will share SOME of my tips with you.

First, let`s come to a consensus that food is ๐—˜๐—ก๐—˜๐—ฅ๐—š๐—ฌ. And your body is an engine.โฃ 


For your car to run smoothly and fast, you will want to give it proper fuel, am I right?โฃ

The same applies to nutrition.โฃ
โฃ
When we eat in a stressed-out, anxious state, our digestion suffers.โฃ


๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐—น๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜„๐—ฒ ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜, ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐˜† ๐˜„๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฏ ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ.โฃ

You may ask, โ€œWhy am I snacking all day and still feeling hungry?โ€โฃ

โฃThis is a common sign that the stress response in your body is ON, and youโ€™re not assimilating nutrients. โฃ


So what to do? โฃ

Make sure to relax before you eat. Take a deep breath, turn off any screen distractions, and focus on your taste buds. โฃ
โฃ
By focusing on your food alone, you allow your body to guide you how much food does it need to feel nourished and happy, as opposed to ๐˜ฐ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ง๐˜ง๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ and lethargic.โฃ

Not only does being lethargic affect your mood but it also affects your desire to exercise = causing you to feel even more lethargic.โฃ

Movement is life! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธโฃ

To ensure you double your energy while staying at home:โฃ
โฃ
โ€” ๐—”๐˜ƒ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ฑ foods that are a one-way ticket to a sugar roller-coaster (as in artificial sweeteners, flavored beverages, and candy)โฃ
โฃ
โ€” ๐—”๐˜ƒ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ฑ boredom eating by practicing the 5ws of mindful eating (Why, What, When, HoW do you eat, and Who are you being while eating) โฃ
โฃ
โ€” ๐—”๐˜ƒ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ฑ sitting all day without getting sufficient exercise โฃ
โฃ
The opposite of avoidance is acceptance:โฃ
โฃ
โ€” ๐—”๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜ that what you eat affects your mood and mental powerโฃ

โ€” ๐—”๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜ that Who are you being is even more important than What do you eatโฃ

โ€” ๐—”๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜ that getting in enough exercise is the best stress-reliever and your body deserves it.โฃ
